Senate sitting for amendment bill and Polls Re-ordering

The news reaching our reporter this day is that the Nigerian Senate has started a fresh new step towards the amendment of the Electoral Act 2010.
The product of the amendment procedure shall be a new bill on the amendment which will presented and passed for it's first reading today, viz a viz the Order Paper for today's plenary.
The bill was re-introduced last week by the House of Representatives.
It could be recalled that the first version of the bill which was presented by the House of Representatives was passed by the National Assembly but however was kicked against by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The aim and purpose of the bill is to reorder the sequence of polls duringn general elections. But critics say it is targeted at President Muhammadu Buhari's 2019 election run.
